After School

Building Hope through After School

Building Hope after school program began in 2001 with the focus of building spiritual and moral development as well as the necessary educational skills for success. We started with a focus on elementary students and now we serve first through twelfth grade. In 2014, through conjunction with the United Way of Pitt County, Building Hope was awarded a grant from 21st Century Community Learning Centers. In 2015, this multi-year grant has enabled us to expand to CM Eppes and EB Aycock. We are now serving over 115 students every day with plans to continue to reach more students in the future.
